These terms cover your use of Gilt Piping. They are written to be read, not to be impressive: the short version is that the cards are for learning from, the food is your responsibility, and the site comes as it is.

Using the site
By reading or using garnish.top you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
What you may do with the material
- You may read, print and use the technique cards for your own baking, teaching and personal practice, including in a paid class you teach.
- You may quote a short extract with a clear credit and a link to the page you took it from.
- You may not republish a card, a step diagram, a colour recipe or a swatch set in full, or as the basis of a competing reference, without written permission.
- You may not copy the site wholesale, resell access to it, or present it as your own work.
Intellectual property
The text, the technique cards, the generated medallions, step diagrams and tip plates on this site belong to Gilt Piping. Tip numbers and brand names are the trademarks of their owners and are used here descriptively, to identify the tool a technique needs. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any tip or ingredient manufacturer.
Food safety and allergens
The techniques here describe methods. They are not a formulation, and they have not been tested for allergen content, shelf life or food safety in your kitchen. You are responsible for the ingredients you use, for hygiene, for labelling anything you give to another person, and for checking that what you make is safe for everyone who will eat it. Royal icing made with egg white, colour dosage, dairy and refrigeration are all handled explicitly on the relevant cards, but the responsibility remains yours.

Accuracy
The cards are checked on the bench, and every number is one we have actually used. Even so, results vary with room temperature, humidity, ingredient brand and equipment, and the site comes with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Curing times in particular are stated for a room at 18 C and will be longer in a humid climate.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gilt Piping is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, including a spoiled cake, a spoiled batch of icing, lost time or lost income. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
