What this number pipes

Three petals in one stroke and a gold throat - the smallest flower on the site and the hardest to get level.

Wilton 105 Stiff Advanced Sugar Flowers

The same number pipes the same shape in the Wilton and PME systems; the opening differs by under 0.3 mm.
Wilton 105 is a common number, so replacing it singly is cheaper than buying a set - most sets are half numbers you will not use.
A narrow opening, so rinse it the moment it comes off the coupler; dried icing deforms the blade.
Tighten the coupler ring to finger pressure only. Forcing it crushes a thin blade out of shape.
Keep two of the same number: one lives with the deep colours (wine, ink), which stain metal permanently.

One squeeze, six broad teeth, and a stripe of pale pink that reads as a rose.

Wilton 2D Medium Beginner

A full open rose built from seven crescent petals, no flower nail needed.

Wilton 124 Stiff Intermediate

The fourteen-petal rose that has been the standard since the 1950s, piped on a flower nail.
