What this number pipes

Two passes per row, four alternating columns, and a whole cake side that reads as woven cane.

Wilton 47 Medium Advanced Borders

A 45 degree diamond grid that covers a cake side without hiding what is under it.

Wilton 47 Medium Intermediate Lace & Fill

The same number pipes the same shape in the Wilton and PME systems; the opening differs by under 0.3 mm.
Wilton 47 is a common number, so replacing it singly is cheaper than buying a set - most sets are half numbers you will not use.
A narrow opening, so rinse it the moment it comes off the coupler; dried icing deforms the blade.
Tighten the coupler ring to finger pressure only. Forcing it crushes a thin blade out of shape.
