What this number pipes

Ten narrow teeth, a deep centre and the tall swirl that makes a cake look two tiers high.

Wilton 6B Medium Intermediate Rosettes

The same number pipes the same shape in the Wilton and PME systems; the opening differs by under 0.3 mm.
Wilton 6B is a common number, so replacing it singly is cheaper than buying a set - most sets are half numbers you will not use.
A narrow opening, so rinse it the moment it comes off the coupler; dried icing deforms the blade.
Tighten the coupler ring to finger pressure only. Forcing it crushes a thin blade out of shape.
Keep two of the same number: one lives with the deep colours (wine, ink), which stain metal permanently.
